Windage adjustment claw mount scope mount

I have an older mauser sporter that I got last month. Finally go to shot it. It has a Dialytn Hensoldt (sp) 4x scope with only elevation adjustment. The rear base of the claw mount has the adjustment screws for windage. The rifle is hitting about 4 inches right at 100 yards. Which way do I move the screws? I know which way the scope needs to go but I don;t know which way the screws move it.

  Viewing the reciever from the rear, loosen the right screw a half turn, and tighten the left screw a half turn or until tight on both screws.
