AMT 45 Backup

I have an AMT 45 I bought new years ago and recall that I was contacted by the AMT factory and instructed to send the gun back to them for a "hammer safety bar retrofit" I did so, and now I am considering getting a second 45 backup, but am concerned that the gun may not have the retrofit done. How can I tell if it has been installed? Thanks

  Hello, ands welcome tot the forums here on Gunbroker.com.
  
  To help you out with your question, I would say to have a good reputable gunsmith check it for you. The factory is no longer in business, though from what I hear, High Standard has picked up some of the line.
  
  I will also tell you, that if you are looking for a nice POCKET 45, look at the Kahr line of 45's.
