This was just given to me as a gift and I probably won't sell this but the previous owner nor I know what it is. Could anyone shed some light as so what this is? There is only 1 marking I see on the entire thing and it appears to be a serial number. It looks an awful lot like a Stevens but I see no markings to indicate such. Thanks

    Who made it?
    What is it?
    Where was it made?
    When was it made?
    Value?

It looks to me like a copy of a Colt Third Model derringer, possibly Belgian. Are there any markings on the barrel?

It does look alike in many ways but there are also lots of differences from the picture you posted and the one I did. I can see absolutely 0 markings anywhere except the serial number. The barrel on this one looks longer from the point the receiver ends. It sure is a tiny little thing. Thanks so much for your help! Happy Holidays! :)

You will usually see differences between authentic firearms and "knockoffs" as a way to circumvent patent infringement claims. The Belgians were notorious for copying desirable American firearms.

Happy Holidays to you as well! [:)]
