It would be helpful to know the serial number of the Model 64 in order to match the known configuration for the gun's general period of production with what we can see in the pictures. Also, a picture of the full left side of the receiver and top tang would be helpful since that side and the tang are often modified for different types of sights and scopes after it left Winchester; which would hurt its value. Depending on the year of production, it may or may not have the two tapped holes for a receiver sight.

Based solely on what I can see in the pictures; $425 sounds like a good buy.

Added: Thanks for the extra pictures. Based on what I can see; personally, I'd buy it for $425 and use it as a shooter!!!

Here are two more pics including one of the left side of the receiver but I don't have a pic of the upper tang. I don't have the serial but the gun was made in 1952 and the caliber is 30-30.

Assuming it is in original condition, (not altered), I would have already sent the check. BUY IT HAWKSHAW

    Hello Buster,

It is a good buy at just $425 shipped. It shows definite signs of use in the field, but no abuse. The caliber stamp "30-30 WIN" tells me that it was positively manufactured in mid 1950 or later.

I have a spare front sight hood in my spare box but I'm not sure if it's a 94 (64) hood, here are two pics of it.
