10ga double barrel

Had a friend recently buy a William De gualle 10ga Double barrel double hammer shotgun serial # 12 appears very old, good cond. most of the blueing is gone. Would like some history and approx. value. Please send any info to garyp1@consolidated.net

  There is a brief reference to a "WM. Dugalle" double in Charles Carder's shotgun reference book. His specimen had Damascus Barrels, external hammers and was English proofed. He notes that it appears to be well made.
  
  EDIT #1, If the name is spelled differently from the above citation in Carder's book? It's probably a Belgian knock-off. They did this to many name brand English shotguns, to deceive potential buyers. You can tell by the Belgian Proof Marks on the barrels and water table.
