Can micarta grip panels be checkered?
I have a pair of black micarata grips on a ruger bisley and a ruger vaquero, is it possible to checker micarta grips to make them less slick?

Checkered Micarta grips do exist, though I can't comment on how hard it is to add checkering to already made ones:

If you just want to add some texture to prevent slippage, stippling them might be easier than checkering.
Alternatively, you could just add a few bits of strategically placed grip tape.0 -
It can certainly be done on denim micarta, have it on knife slabs. Not sure about the slick stuff. 0 -
