The best way to get a very accurate answer on this forum is to list any markings you see anywhere on the gun and most importantly, post a few well lighted in focus pictures. The guys here have never failed to identify a gun when enough details were provided. [:D] 0 -

Hmm, I'd not agree with that... they couldn't identify a Belgian guild gun revolver I posted here some years ago with good pics. [;)]

Could be a Challenger or Medalist. Check out the auction side to see which one you "MAY" have.

Challenger model,,,looks like it needs a good cleaning. Good shooters as that is what you have in that condition. 250..300.? 0 -

The 6th figure in the serial number is actually the letter "U", not a zero. This is Browning's model identifier. During that time frame,( late 60's), each distinct Browning model was identified by a specific letter in the serial number. The 7th digit is year of manufacturer, most likely 1967. If the condition of the entire pistol is similar to that of the grip, unfortunately it has severe condition problems and is not going to be worth a lot of money, i.e. only to somebody who wants it as a inexpensive "shooter".0
