Did Win. make a full-stock 92 carbine?

Just saw an old movie last night "The King and 4 Queens" with Clark Gable. One of the characters had a full stock 92 carbine. Did Winchester make such a gun or was it just another Hollywood prop?

  If your referring to the 3 band "Musket" configuration, yes. Back then in the 40's/50's the Hollywood prop houses would buy all the old Winchesters they could get their hands on, as long as they were cheap. Rarity was a immaterial factor to them at that time. It wasn't till the MGM prop auctions and sales of the 60's/70's? did they wise up that some of the stuff they were trashing for years, were big buck collectors items.

  Winchester made Model 1892 Muskets which had very long stocks w/ 3 bbl. bands and nearly the length of the bbl. They are extremely rare, my wager is it was a made up Hollywood gun. In the days of Clark Gable Hollywood was not that concerned with historically correct firearm use in the movies.
