Will a corn cob forearm fit on a newer model Ithaca?

  Yes. The size of the metal forend tube hasn't changed (speaking within gauges). It is the same. The corncob style forend won't be as long or extend as far to the rear as the more modern forend style. But the wood forend pieces (within each gauge, of course) are 100% interchangeable.
