"Fabrica Militarde Armas Portatiles-Rosarig"
"Sistema Colt Cal 11.25mm - Industria Argentina"
on the right side of the slide it says
"P.N.N. 110907"

Hi, Would appreciate expert opinion on a gun purchased (used) in 1975. Colt Mk IV 45 ACP. It has had gold and silver hand grips added. What would the experts believe this is worth? The only other ID I have on it is the serial number. Thanks, bj 0 -
Jeff,
Post clear, close pictures in natural light if you can. Pay close attention to all of the stampings and numbers, show them very clearly. If you know how, diassemble it and take picture of all the major parts.
We are blessed with several 1911 experts on this forum, Perry Shooter and Ruff Snow come to mind, there are more. One of them will be along as soon as you post pictures and give you good advice.

The 1938 national match combined to use the same serial number range as the Government The only markings that are different will be on the Slide and barrel. They came with both Fixed and Adjustable sights .The adjustable sight is preferred for someone that is going to shoot the pistol but fewer guns were made with fixed sights so value about the same. Be aware that this was also during a time frame that some came with a SWARTZ safety. Sort of like a BETTER series 80 safety. Colt did not want to use and Pay a royalty to Swartz Heirs so they redesigned this great system into a poor system. Value is determined in Condition of pistol. One that is NIB will bring twice what one in 95% will bring. Hands on is the best way but good lite pictures up close and in focus plus detailed picture of bottom locking lugs of barrel are needed at a minimum . 0 -
BY POSTING JUST ONE THREAD WITH GOOD CLEAR CLOSE UP PICTURES OF ALL MARKINGS [:0] 0 -
You have asked your question 3 times, yet you refuse to post photos.
Trying to goad members of this forum into estimating the value of a gun that they can't see is a lot like trying to teach a cat how to sing: It is a waste of your time, & it annoys the cat.
