Identifying and Valuing two firearms.

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum, and I am not a spammer or a troll.

I have recently inherited a couple of firearms, which I am looking to find an approximate value on so that I can sell them. One is a 1943 enfield / lithgow, and the other is a 20 gauge shotgun. I'm not a hunter, or an avid gunman, but I would like to sell these and perhaps purchase a handgun for home defense. Or maybe not.

Anyway, I have lots of pictures of each which can be seen here:

Please have a look and help me determine if these weapons are in their original condition, and what they might each bring.

    Enfield been sportered...150..Winchester 1200--$175- 225.

    Unfortunately the Enfield has been sporterized (the stock should reach to nearly the muzzle and that reduces it's value to about $100, give or take. Too bad. One of our Winchester guys should pop in and tell you he value of the shotgun.

    I kind of figured the Enfield had been modified. Other pictures on the net showed exactly what you said, i.e., that the stock goes nearly to the end of the barrel.

    Anyway, thanks for the info.
