Neither. I have gotten used Leupolds (4x12x40) for $200.

At the same price the Banner is overpriced as it is a lower level model than the Trophy. Am very satisfied with the two Trophies I hunt with (2-7 and 3-9 power).

I would choose exactly neither. I would take the Burris Fullfield II, for the same price or a little less. Better glass, and better warranty. Need I say more?

I have a banner, its on its way out, made me angry last deer season. In low light conditions, I couldn't tell if the two bucks I was looking at were shooters or not. [:(!]

I bought a 4200 of of LF for 200 here last month. I think if that is your price range you should look around and watch some more auctions. Bushnell 3200's, Nikon Buckmaster's, and Burris Fullfield II's can be found in the 175-200 range. You would be much happier with them.

I use nothing but bushnells and cabelas has the xlt trophy for sale right now for 99 dollars. It also comes with a bore sighter. Look in the bargin cave. I just bought three of them and all are accurate as hell.I killed a nice deer with it on my marlin 41 mag this year. I absolutly love the trophy series. Just my two cents.

Bushnell used to be a good company that made high quality optics for a reasonable price right down the road from where I live in Monrovia, CA. Those days have ended, sence being bought out by Meade Optical, Bushnell has become the bargin maker of bargin line optics sold out of plastic containers at walmart. I hate to say this but the new banners are bargin bin junk and the Trophy XLT is the biggest disapointment of the past couple of years within the optics world.

For the price range your thinking about you would be better off with a Redfield or Nikon Buckmaster for just a few bucks more, plus you will get a much better warentee that is based on the word "Lifetime" on both of these.

Sorry if I sound so opionated, I have been working in the optics world for the past 30 years and I hate to see people waste their money on junk.
