IIRC there is a book on 22 rimfire boxes, by a gent named Dunn
If you go to the IAA home page www.cartridgecollectors.org and look at the "buttons" along the left side of the page, there is both one on box collecting and a "bibliography" of books on cartridge and cartridge box collecting.
Another place to ask would be on the IAA forum (also linked to from the above site), which is where the guys that eat, sleep and breath cartridge related things hang out

    Rex,
As far as I know, there is no all inclusive book showing all brands and variations of cartridge boxes. As an avid full box collector myself, I have stocked my library with all of the common books mentioned, factory catalogs, flyers, pamphlets, and vintage magazine ads featuring ammo. I also print and archive the actual auction results from "Wards Collectibles", which shows a good history of actual box auction prices, with pictures. Good Luck!! Itruly feel that boxed, vintage ammo is going to be a blue chip stock in the future, as collectible gun prices continue to skyrocket.

Dan Shuey (all his books are good) is the go to guy if you really want exacting detail!

    Rex,

Pictures of each box are needed... there were a lot of variations.
