Which way do you drive a sight off a Winchester? Thanks for your help.

Left to right, and do not use a steel drift punch. 0 -
I think I want to put a Rocky mountain front sight on my 94 22" rifle. Any thoughts? I would like to find one of those or the flip up type. 0 -
one more thing. My front sight has a set screw in it and the slot seems loose when I put a different sight in it. Is that normal? The same sight is tight on my model 70 0 -
Actually the left to right goes for all common dovetail's. Like has ben mentioned, you want to use a non-ferrous drift punch to do it with. Brass is about the best.
If your dovetail slot is loose, it may need to be staked to be tightened up a little. I would take to a good gunsmith to do that, if you are not up on it.

I assume Left to Right means looking down the rifle like you are shooting ---- left is left? 0 -
Yes, that is correct.
