Best you've learned from this forum
While sizing some rifle brass with my "Imperial Wax" (learned about here)after cleaning with Walnut from a pet store (learned here)I thought about all the things I've learned on this forum over the years which weren't even from my questions. I thought it might be interesting for people to share the "BEST" method, supply, or equipment they have learned about on this forum.
For me it was the Imperial Wax instead of the old lube pad with Lyman lube that I used to use.
How about you?

I am a very new member here, but I have already received priceless information on proper load charges, especially for unpublished loads like plated bullets, etc.
I agree that most of the information I get is from posts that I did not even start. Just browsing gets you a ton of information.0 -
I've learned quite a bit just reading posts and I know I forgot more than I remembered [:I] . I'd be hard pressed([:p]) to rank the best. 0 -
That pun just made my favorite list...not [:D] 0 -
The biggest on for me has been "pet loads" with different powders bullet combination's that I have not tried. I have been reloading a lot of years and you can never know it all, you only get better with proven tips, tricks, and procedures. 0 -
...that the national market for good milsurp 45 ammo has disappeared.[:(][:D] 0 -
I learned to use rice to clean and polish brass in a vibrating polisher. 0 -
I never would of thought about rice as a cleaning media so I just learned something new! Please give some details on this process.

It works better if you don't cook it first. DAMHIKT[:I] JK [:D]0 -
Where to start???!!![:D]
What powders work best in a gas gun and why
Why the .223 and 5.56 ARE different, and how that same knowledge can be helpful in other cartridges.
....So, many things work back to that second one.
Bullet stability, and why.0 -
After spending 40 + years on a loading bench making "boolits" for my favorite "deer" rifle. The accuracy suddenly went south. I learned from a forum member that my reloading dies may need a good cleaning. It was the only thing I hadn't given any consideration. Worked like a charm but left me embarrassed for never cleaning my dies in all those years. ODAWGP was the person that straightened me out. The other things that I have learned on the forums are too numerous to mention. The Sandwarriors and the Rocky Raabs ETC. ETC. do a great service to our "pastime".-Mike 0 -

For one thing I learned about Blue Dot in my 41 Mag, had to pull alot of bullets and start over. I've shot about 200 of them without problems, but...my model 57 is too nice to take chances. Let alone my digits. I to have been loading for about 40 years, and try to learn every day, this forum is a great source of knowledge.
Thanks everyone.
