Small FFL near Lynwood, WA
Need to transfer a receiver to a buyer, and keep getting dire warnings about including an accurate invoice so that the State of WA can levy sales tax on items bought outside the state...in addition to (IMO) ridiculous transfer fees of 40-75 dollars.

Awesome! I didn't even get a chance to visit all the gun dealers on that side of the state when I lived there but I had the same problem you did/your customer did in finding ones that tried to stick it to you. I totally understand an FFL needing to make a buck but some of them were just flat ridiculous. On the auction side they have a "find a FFL in your area feature" kinda cool as many of them tell you what they charge for transfer fee's. 0 -
Talked to some Central FLA ones where they apparently had gotten together to form an informal cartel, and all agreed to not transfer a gun ordered online for less than 65 bucks.
How unAmerican.0 -
Kinda off the subject but I found a FFL back home in MO that does $20 transfers on the 1st gun. $5 dollars for each additional gun on the same 4473 if picked up at the same time.
Picked up 3 guns I bought off GB while I was home from him. He mentioned he would give me dealer cost + $20 and shipping on any new gun I wanted.0
