760 stamped 742
I have a .308 pump rifle, barrel is marked 760 carbine, receiver is stamped woodsmaster 742. I have a book by Eugene Myszkowski and on page 92-93, he talks about stamping errors. The receiver is same as my other 760's, does not have cutout that a 742 receiver has for operating handle. My questions are the value and does anyone else have one. The barrel date code says that it was made May 1980.

imo guns are not like coins, stamping errors do not add much (if any) value. 0 -
Thats what I thought, at least I have something that few people have. The rifle will just be an extra to my vast 760 collection. 0
