SKB made two different series of self loading shotguns that I know of. The first was numbered 300 and 900. They are recoil operated like the Browning A5 and were made for Ithaca. Then they made a series numbered XL300 and XL900. Those are gas operated. I bought 3 of the 300 recoil guns. I gave a 12 ga. to my brother and a 20 ga. to my son. They are light weight and reliable. I like mine very much. My son came back from the west coast for pheasant season this year and carried my 12 ga. He could break clay targets with it every time but couldn't hit a pheasant. I doubt if it was the guns fault. 0
