Rem 870 and 870 Express barrells

I have a 12 gauge Hasting Paradox slug barrel up on the auction side and I am being asked if it will fit a 1992 870 Express. My barrel is off my 870 Wingmaster (1971). I believe it will but thought I would check.

  If the barrel is for a 3" magnum, it will work in both recievers.
  It will fit the 2 3/4" reciever, but don't use 3" shell in it.

  The Hasting is a 3" but I could only use 2 3/4 because of the receiver on my 870.

  Do any one know of a barrel for an 870 Express Mag. that is 20-21 inches long, changeable chokes and has real sights on it. Have been looking around and only able to find slug barrels.

  If by 'real sights', you meant rifled sights, yes, Remington makes a similar barrel with remchokes and rifle sights. It exists (I actually owned one at one time, it came with a rifled remchoke tube), I just don't' have a link to one. Both of the above barrels show up on Gunbroker if you are patient, but demand is high for both barrels, and even the used barrels sell for 'new' prices, especially if Remington is out of stock.
