Remington Rolling Block #4 Solid Frame
I recently acquired a nice little #4 whose breach block "flops" when the hammer is pulled back, it seems to be missing a spring. Being the small solid frame model it seems to take a different spring configuration then the larger rolling block actions. I'm hoping some one has a picture of what I need, or just a picture of a good one installed (should be viewable with the fore end removed). So I can as closely as possible replicate it.
I figure it is some sort of flat or V spring (based on the vintage) but I can't figure out how to fit it, it seems like a coil spring set into the fore end would do the job well but I'd rather not devalue the rifle.
Thanks in advance.

This is from Remington's 1899 catalog.
Sorry if the photos are too large but
I want to try and show you the detail.
I would guess that you need the
Trigger, Block and Extractor Spring.
And you're in luck, it's only .25 cents! [:)]

Thanks guys, it all makes sense now. Looks like an easy fix for a change, I'll order the spring up from the folks listed above. 0
