I would definitely do the trade! You are by far getting the best of the deal, IMHO. I forget the exact figure now, but over 300,000 CZ 27's were made for the krauts during their occupation of Czechoslovakia, during the war. They always have been one of the most common of the German WWII handguns, and even now are not really big buck collectors items.

Their are always exceptions though to everything! Two very rare versions of the CZ 27 that exist that are very rare and sought after by collectors and are much more valuable then the common ones. One has a flange at the end of the barrel for a suppressor. The other has what are called by collectors police markings or proofs. As it was made for use by the German paramilitary groups. Both these versions would be worth considerably more then the Ruger.

Post quality close-up photos of the 27 to make sure your not giving away the farm.

Its not the supressor model nor does it have any police markings such as the Eagle over K its just a very nice late war Phosphate finish gun.
