Brass Cleaner

BIG AL
I just ran a load of 45 in red colored media in my tumbler. They are nice and shiney now, but have that red powder on them. Whats next to get them clean and ready for reload?

    Some time back some wrote about cleaning brass with citurs eather with a power you mix with water or a liquid.Does any one happen to remember the posting?

    Not any post per se, but yes, it was powdered citric acid dissolved in water.

    I have the recipe you are referring to at home, I will try to PM it to you when get a chance. I have actually used it, works pretty good.

    This citric and water mix is only a soak, correct? not for in the shaker.

    Yes, it is a soak method, not for use in a tumbler or vibratory tumbler.
