Savage 99 identity
Can anyone tell me which model 99 this is, I think it is a 99 EG but I am not sure now as there are too many fine differences between them all, or if someone can tell me what to look for so I can ID it myself, that would be great

Would you be so kind as to list the serial number and caliber of this rifle.
Thank you0 -
577012 300 savage, thanks for fixing the pics 0 -
Looks like a 1949-1950 vintage EG... 0 -
it is in good condition for it's age, any idea of value? The grip cap is missing.. 0 -
IF it has not been re-blued (can't tell from the photos) in the depressed market it might bring $350-$425 in my area. 300 Savage is the most common, and a good cartridge for hunting, not so much for collector value. A lot of variation in prices regionally. 0 -
it has not been re blued, thanks for teh info, i will try to put it on auction side to see what happens 0 -
