I ship internationally all the time for ebay. It is not difficult to do and even simpler if they pay via paypal (you can just use paypal shipping).

Otherwise, it is best to take everything to the post office because the customs forms are different for different weights.

Use this website as a guide http://pe.usps.com/text/Imm/immctry.htm

For international, I add a $3 handling fee which is reasonable. This is mainly due to the fact that you have to go to the post office to mail internationally, you can't just put it in your box or hand it to your carrier.

Don't deal with anyone that wants you to mark it as "gift" to so they can avoid customs duty...you can get in a lot of trouble.

It is not difficult and I never add an extra fee. I 100% agree with gknaka about buyers who want the box and paperwork labeled "Unsolicited Gift" as a means of dodging taxes and duties. It is against the law and there is absolutely no advantage to you for doing it...SO DON'T!

"machine parts" "machine sizer" or equivalent should be a sufficient description. Although this item is not on the banned list, you may want to avoid using the word "bullet" or "lube" (which implies caustic checmical)in the description.

I shipped a M-S '03 stock to Crete (as in Isle of...) for a guy to reassemble into a barreled action he had. Pretty strick rules regarding military hardware of any sort. Filled out the customs forms as "vintage wood accessory" and declared the auction price of $200 and everything went fine. Evidently a M-S stock is something akin to gold over there!
