New trigger
I have a Ruger m77r mkII .257 roberts I would like to put a better trigger in it. I've never replaced a trigger in any of my guns before. The gun is used for deer hunting. I looked at a timney trigger in the midway catalog. I really dont know pro's/con's of replacement triggers but If I'm going to buy one I want to spend the extra for the quality. The problem with the Ruger trigger is that there is some travel and isnt "crisp". Also I have a Savage 340d in 222 that I dont shoot often because of the trigger. Any suggestions on either guns?

I want to put a lighter trigger on my marlin 1894fg 41 mag. What brand trigger shold I buy. I want to install it myself. The factory trigger is to hard and has been adjusted all the way . 0 -
Oakie,
To the best of my knowledge, the trigger in a Marlin 1894, is not adjustable. I am not aware of any aftermarket triggers for them either. I know there are different levers that can be had, but any aftermarket parts like that will need a QUALIFIED gunsmith to put in, as they are surely not plug in and play. I would take the rifle to a good reputable shop, and have them do a trigger job on it, as those in 41 Magnum are few and far between to wreck.

Personally, I'd go with tsr1965's recommendation and have a reputable gunsmith to do the trigger job.
Good luck and happy safe shooting.
