Just in time for Chrismas giving...
In another attempt to keep all of us up-to-date on new entries in the industry I have run across this little tidbit guaranteed to wake up even the sleepiest of shooters.

These are part of a new line of coated bullets from ARES Pusk?rska Diel#328;a, a Slovakian bullet-maker. Here is their website in the English version to save some hassle:
http://www.ares-gun.sk/?lang=english
Despite the look of being candy-shaped bullets, these are the real deal. The coating works like a friction reducer but doesn't chip or flake off in the barrel:

The full line up is available on the ARES website. Unfortunately, these are not yet available in the U.S. as a distributor has not been announced.
Best.

Hmmm...A friction reducer? Like a lubrication agent, where you wouldn't need to lube? I think those would be awesome in my 45-70's, and 41 Magnum.

I wonder if that coating is similar to the Nyclad bullets that Smith and Wesson put out years ago. I liked those bullets but I have found over the years that they "grow" in size. I suspect corrosion under the cladding, I now run them through a sizer before use.
