Identify this Double Barrel
I need some help, I have a 12 gauge double barrel. The markingS visible on the outside is up by where the release is to break it down it says, "HELICE VERITABLE". In front of the trigger guard it says, "H. Mesnier FILS" then separated by scroll it says, "Cognac".
On the underside of the barrel, where it connects to the stock it says on both barrels, "ACIER DE SURETE'" and has a stamp mark that is a 3 pointed crown with PT under it. Above the crown in circular print are 3 words, "CHOKE RECTIFIE A. GOUILLARD" (the G could be a C).
Further down the barrel is a stamp with the words "STETIENNE" below it, and below that is "18.2" above STETIENNE is the word "JANISSON".
On the left barrel past the above mark mentioned is, "DEPOSE" below that is another stamp I can't make out, below the stamp is, "ACILR INEXPLOSIBLE". To the left of the stamp is, "QUALITE" and to the right of the stamp is, "SLPER EDRE" (L may be wrong, faded).
On the right barrel past the above mark mentioned is, "CROCKET ENCASTRE'" to the right of that word is, "3903" and below that word is, "CANCH FANCET"
On the stock itsself where the barrel hinges the "3903" is stamped. The "CROWN" is stamped with the "PT" under it like on the barrel.
The gun is blued, but the metal behind the barrels, down towards the stock, under the stock including the trigger guard if nickle (or silver for all I know) and very scrolled.
This has been in my family for a long time and we have researched book, the internet using all of the words above and we have NEVER been able to find out anything about it.
I would appreciate any and all recommendations and/or information.

Made in France. 0 -
Verney-Carron has been making shotguns in St.Etienne for ages and had the habit of stamping "stetienne" on their work.
This is just a guess though so hopefully you can dig more.0 -
St Etienne is the site of a French government proofhouse and appears on all French firearms made in that district.
Helice is a distinct brand, a competitor of Verney Carron.
I suspect H. Mesnier FILS in Cognac was the selling agent for Helice guns.
Acier de Surete is something like "secure steel", a brand or grade of steel used in gun barrels. The various obscure symbols are proof and inspection marks. I don't know French to say what the other markings are.0
