You can use an online search engine to bring up the sites of various shippers and compare prices between UPS, FedEx and USPS for shipping over seas. It is all going to be based on weight, value and the dimensions of the box so there is no way to tell you how much it will cost. There is no export license needed for sporting shotguns, but you will still have to fill out the standard Customs declaration form. To get the gun returned to you with the minimal amount of trouble you'll need to fill out a Customs form which deals with foreign goods originating in the USA, temporarily exported and then returned. I am sorry but I can remember the number of this form. It is designed for travelers who might have an expensive Swiss watch with them when they fly to Europe and don't want US Customs to think that they bought it while overseas and upon return to the USA make it subjected to import duties. Without that form you might have a tough time convincing anyone that you did not buy the shotgun in England and are importing it; which would mean you'd need an approved BATFE Form 6.

I think this is going to be an adventure.

Point of interest, Why do you need a "reproof" ??

Reproofing is recommended following the repair of a deep dent in the barrel to determine if the metal will withstand firing.
