I have a winchester model 88 serial number 8888, in a .308. It has two mags and is in great shape. It was mfg in 1955. Any I idea what it's worth?

  I have a Winchester model 88 .308 serial #39xxx (1956) in excallent shape. Any idea what I should ask for it?

  I've seen the Model 88 .308 converted to a .358... Not sure what you have to change..The original .308 magazine will work with the .358 ammo.
