It would help to know the use or type of shooting. Also, are we talking weight or recoil?

The Ruger 28 ga. is what my wife uses, I took a little off the stock and it is perfect and light.

My wife and daughter both use Remington 1100s.

My wife uses an older Stevens 20 gauge that I bought that is pretty light. For new stuff Remington makes youth models that would work pretty well.

Benelli super sport or super light depending on use. My wife has a 20ga super sport. Noticably lighter than my 20ga rem 1100 and far less recoil.

My wife has a remington 870 20 ga. 'youth' model. (shorter stock). She loves it and does very well with it. It's a smooth bore with interchangable choke tubes,so she can shoot all the shot loads and for deer she uses rifled slugs.[:)][:)][:)]

    My wife uses a Yildz O/U 410, Ruger O/U 20ga. and a Beretta O/U 20ga.
No problems with weight or recoil. When we shoot a little trap, she uses a Browning BT99 12ga., 1oz loads, again no problems.
