This question is to dealers:
I am looking for recommendations for credit card merchant service companies that work well with gun dealers. I need a company that allows me to process orders over the phone by keying in a transaction as well as all the other traditional credit payments. The problem with my last provider is they all of a sudden did not allow me to accept a payment over the phone for gun sales. They would reject all keyed in transactions for gun sales. I had 5 transactions killed last week! Had to fire them, now I need another. Any ideas?

The company I use is Electronic Data Payment Systems. They have a website. I signed up with them at the SHOTSHOW. Almost all of my sales are swiped, but I have had to key in some because of bad strips. Also, I thought their fees were very reasonable. Their number is 800-654-9256. 0 -
