Good Afternoon. Don't have any information on a shotgun marked BELGIAN METOR but do have some on a Belgian made shotgun marked just METEOR. The name Meteor is credited a Louis Muller who was either a gun maker or agent (or both) located in Liege, Belgium from about 1880 to 1914. He was connected with the Crescent Fire Arms Company of Norwich, CT and H & D Folsom Arms Company of New York City. Both companies imported Belgian made shotguns. History? Can't supply that but can guess that the gun was made and imported sometime between 1890 and 1914 when World War One, The Great War or The War To End All Wars (choose one) cut off exports from Belgium. To be sure that the gun was made in Belgium, look for Belgian proof marks consisting of the letters "ELG" in an oval stamped on the bottom of the barrels. Since I am consistently updating my shotgun markings listings, would you mind confirming the marking BELGIAN METEOR?
    Thank You.
