If these are original USGI issue, either cutdown or original length - and they are in v.good to excellent condition and have original scabbard, $65 is an EXCELLENT price. If they are Danish or Korean imports - they are worth about $25 to $45, depending upon condition.
I have seen original pieces (see above) sell beyond the $100 mark here in Eastern PA. Original 16" pieces - close to or over $300.

The PB-004 are uncutdown and well worth the money.
The PB-003 are the cutdown ones.
The uncut ones are the most desireable.

The description on the M1 bayonest (cut down or not): Used/serviceable is very ambiguous and could mean just about anything: Rust, pitting, no finish, cracked or broken grip panels...You name it! At $65 they are priced under market value...If they are in nice shape. I'd be interested in seeing what a few of these look like as they come out of the box.

Okay, I will go ahead & order one of the PB004 ones.
Is there any reason to choose between the
    PB004AFH-American Fork & Hoe
    PB004OL- Oneida Limited
    PB004PAL-PAL Blade & Tool
    PB004UC- Utica Cutlery
    PB004UFH-Union Fork & Hoe

Re: Being sold out. They weren't even supposed to go on sale until the 29th. I wonder if there is a new supply or did they jump the gun?
They said free shipping if ordered in 2010 giving the impression there was a large supply.

I'd recommend the PB004ENS, because all the others are sold out.

    You snoozed.

    Neal

EDIT: Maybe they listed the ENS ones early, & the others will appear on the 29th.

FEI: here's a link with a good explanation of the Garand bayonet scheme of things. Good info here, despite being an e-Bay thread.

Man, I look at that web site and the bayonets are repros made in Commie China. Commie iron should not be put on an M-1 Garand. General Patton (God rest his soul) would be very upset by that.

All of the bayonets are now listed for sale. The web site appears to be overloaded. It takes forever to just get to the listing. Actually buying one seems to be impossible.

Based on what has been said over on their forum; even if you some how manage to fight your way through and place an order, it has proven impossible to get the automated system to accept the order due to the entire system being overloaded.
