Engraved Vaquero,s
I have a pair of NIB gold cylinder engraved color-cased .45 Vaquero's I'm thinking of offering to my local gun shop for a used Remington R15 .223 24" bbl. Am I giving up too much or should I ask for a nice scope to go with it? My Blue Book is old old old.

DH9185....welcome to the GB Forum and thanks for your question. Without seeing the three guns it is hard to tell but the older Vaquero's seem to hold their value well. I would think, again w/o seeing the two Rugers and taking your NIB (and hopefully unturned) comment a face value, that you have about $1k or so of value there in the Rugers so it is what you think the "used" R15 is worth. If it was me, I would hold out for a nice scope to make the set. Good luck[^][:D][:)]0
