crosman 600

My crosman 600 does not seem to accept the standard crosman co2 cylinder. When you insert the cylinder and screw the end cap on it will pierce the top and then it stops with about 3 threads left. The end cap will not screw all the way down and of course the gas all escapes. Are there different length ofco2 cylinders? Am I doing some thing wrong or what.

  You need a new O ring.

  Has been a long time since I have worked on a 600. Yes there were two sizes of cartridges.
