winchester model 70 270 caliber
i was going to clean the bolt and the saftey was in the fire postion and i took the bolt out of the gun and pushed the locking device on the bolt and turned it counter clock wise and now it is stuck
i was told the saftey had to be in the middle postion to take the bolt apart and that it has to be cocked so what do i do know please email me back at starnescm@yahoo.com thank you again

It will require some effort, but you must turn it back clockwise against the cocking cam. 0
