Llama Max 1911 Double Stack

I picked up a hi cap 45 Llama 1911 for cheap at my local gunstore. Never saw one like it before, looks nice with blue slide and polished aluminum frame. My question is, are these things any good or do I have the Yugo of 1911s?

  I have one and it works fine. You can file the magazine latch hole on a Para-Ordanance magazine a little and they will work in them. Parts will be a problem if you break anything as they are different than a Colt. I bought mine about 12 years ago new for $300.
