Stevens 200 bolt dissasembly.
I have in the shop a Stevens model 200 in 25-06 Rem. caliber. It will extract the shell but it will not eject it. It appears that the ejector might be broken as it does not protrude from the bolt face. Does anyone have or know where I can get assembly/disassembly instructions for the bolt for this rifle? Or are there different thoughts on the problem? Any help will be appreciated.

you can also try {Elsewhere}. think you will have to build a profile though. 0 -
I downloaded the owners manual from Steve's Pages . It shows exploded diagram but no details on dissassembling the bolt. I went to {Elsewhere} ant it requires a year's subscription. I wouldn't mind paying the $12.00 if I was sure they had the info I need.
Surely someone on this forum has dissasembled the bolt on a Stevens model 200. How do you remove/replace the ejector??? Thanks!0 -
I disassembled my Savage 110 and 111F using ...
... which is similar to page 10 of parts breakdown schematic on the Stevens manual.
It is actually very easy.
ADDED:
If the ejector is bad (12O), remove bolt assembly from action, then unscrew bolt assembly screw (12S) to start the process.
Good luck!

The bolt on the 200 is quiet different from the 110. Anyone worked on the 200 bolt? 0 -
Thanks! The dissasembly instructions are what I was looking for. Apparently the ejector on this one is either missing or jammed back into the bolt head. I had not worked on one of these and did not want to start experimenting as I have lost some parts that way. 0
