Ruger New Model Single Six???
Hey Ruger collectors, I've got a question for you... I've read that there is a rare variation of the single six convertable, where the top of the barrel is marked "Made In The 200th Year Of American Liberty". I was wondering if there was anything to this, or if they are common. Thanks for any help!![;)]

They are not UNCOMMON as far as a purpose built collector gun goes, but having said that are worth a small premium of about %10 to %15. There should be some for sale on the auction side or under closed auctions. 0 -
Made in 1976,,,unless NIB,,not much more,,,but darn nice reading[:)] 0 -

MrM1A1:
Yes there is a rare variation of the Liberty convertible, 4-5/8" barrel.
KNR4, Ruger model 0627, Stainless Super Single Six. Known S/N range 64-62352 to 64-65583, factory letter is mandatory. This is a New Model with left over old model cylinders. Both cylinders are fluted and the LR cylinder has the firing pin groove.
KNR4=300 or less produced. Rare.
The KNR5 and KNR6 were also produced in this variety but in larger quantity, 3,000 and 3,500 respectively.
The last collector price sheet I have for this model is from 2008. It lists the KNR4 Liberty, NIB with shipper and papers at $935.
All info is from the "RED EAGLE NEWS EXCHANGE"
Hope this helps.0
