    I think if you could find some of the old winchester silvertips that had the full aluminum

    You could polish them by hand with some Flitz, JB Paste or (better) some Nevr-Dull. Then give them a coat of clear lacquer to preserve the "purdy."

    I find that the black bullet in a nickle case really looks nice. For presentation, I don't think you could find anything better.

    +1 on the silvertips. Put them in nickel brass and you have a nice sleek fully chromed round.

    unless I want to have to "maintain" the shineyness (is that a word?) of the brass, I would load them in nickle plated cases.
