Why can't I get anymore 308 Silver Tip bullets for reloading? I have 100 left, what's up?

  I think he is referring to the winchester silver tips that had an aluminum tip on the lead soft point. I don't see them listed as components in the rifle loadings any more, only in pistol. They were my choice for deer hunting many years ago. bob

  Winchester, a few years back switched types of Silver Tips. When they entered into the Combined Technologies group with Nosler, they changed their Sivler Tip, to the Ballistic Tip design.
