winchester ranger 140 shotgun

I recently purchased a winchester 140 semi-auto 12 ga shotgun ,with deer slug stamped on barrel,along with winchester ranger 140.All I can find out about this gun is that it is an entry level shotgun,and basically a 'plain jane 1400'.But if anybody could give me any more info than that,,I would definitely appreciate it.[?]
