date of manufacture

OK you experts. I need to know the manufacture date of a Winchester Model 94. The serial nmuber is 49468XX. Thanks guys!

  Have a Sears Mod 54 Lever 30-30 made by Winchester with ser.42516.Anyone know the DOM for this #?

  The rifle has the old Southgate CA address on it .Pretty much a standard rifle ,blued finish with walnut stock .I bought it in the late 80s or early 90s. From what i can tell im thinking it is an early 80s gun just want to narrow that down a bit .
