I have marlin model 1894-S in 45Colt w/ 16" barrel great little swamp gun. Trigger is awful can this trigger be reworked to improve pull and creep. I realize its not a bolt gun but this thing is terrible

  Check WildWestGuns. He specializes in upgunning Winchester 71 and various Marlins to big calibers like 450 Alaskan. Saw an anti-flop trigger from him for sale some time back on Midway. There are doubtless others that make similar items...look at Brownells and Midway to see what they have in terms of a drop in fix.
