The trigger pull is lighter then most semi auto pistols because the grip of your other 3 fingers cock the hammer This give you a single action type trigger pull on every round just a short travel as well as light. Great design if you like lighter trigger pull I would say mine is about 3-4 pounds
EDITMy Bad no external hammer I believe this pistol may even be striker fired. What I was trying to get across was on most single action semi autos you have to work the slide or manually cock the hammer to make the gun ready to fire. Most "double actions / single action" the first shot is a long heavy trigger pull and then all other shots are single action with short light trigger pull . Then there are double action only pistols that each shot is long heavy trigger pull . The P7 uses the gripping of the pistol to make the gun ready to fire EVERY TIME with a light short trigger pull.0 -
3 to 4 lbs is correct. No hammer involved though. Very light, very crisp, short take-up... a nice trigger. 0 -
I have a P7M10 and due to torn ligaments that healed badly, my shooting hand isn't as strong as it should be.
If it is only your trigger finger and the rest of your hand is okay, then no problem. However, the strength required to squeeze the cocker might be a bit much.0 -
4 pounds 6 ozs just now.
Nice trigger
