colt police positve serial #

i have a colt police positive 2nd issue in .32 new police. there is a "T" stamped above the serial # on the frame. can anyone tell me what the "T" signifies? thanks.

  Like with most other Colt revolvers, it is either an internal inspectors mark, or an assembly marking.
