Winchester Model 12 Shotgun - DOM?

I have a Win. Model 12 trap gun with an extra WS-1 Skeet barrel. Serial no. is 1,459,685. My uncle was shooting this gun in the 1950's, so I know it's at least that old. Anybody know when this gun was made?

  Yes... it was serialized in early September, 1952.
