    Because the indentation for the safety on the top of the left grip, I believe it's for either the 1903 pocket hammerless .32 or the 1908 .380, which was almost exactly the same.

    The markings on the grips don't look nearly sharp enough to be original though. I bought some similar appearing ones for a Sauer 38-H last year from a on-line outfit that sold repro grips.

    They appear to be an early set of Model 1900 Grips...Only 3500 total made.WILSONS Book on Colts has a nice set of Photos......Best..

    99% sure this are aftermarket NOT original Colt look at the points of the diamonds"or lack of points" some are actually little holes as the material did not even fill the molds. IMHO value $20.00 ?

    All the 1900's I have run across have two screws on either side securing the grips.

    No doubt in my mind these are for a 1903. The notch is too far back to be 1908.
