Rem. XCR stock ... question

Quick question ... can a Rem Sendero barreled action be put into an Rem. XCR stock reasonably?

I'm unfamiliar with the XCR forestock construction. Thanks!

  The barrel channel would have to be opened up, and then you would have a real flimsy forend. It is already flimsy enough, to make a good rifleman(or woman) hate it. I would not even consider putting a Sendero in one of those. It would have to be a good fiberglass/Kevlar composite, with pillars, or a bedding block, or a very good laminated wood, with pillars for me.
