Webley or Enfield?
I have no idea how to determine which I have here. The barrel has been poorly cut-off. I simply want to know which it is, so I can get the correct barrel, strip it, and then most likely phosphate it.

I have obtained a double action only break top .38 that the barrel has been hack-sawed. How can I tell if this is a Webley or an Enfield? I would like to replace the barrel.

This is what the Enfield revolvers that were converted to snubbies, then imported and sold in the U.S. looked like. They are also marked on the right side of the frame just behind the trigger guard, with the Enfield name.. The Webly revolvers although similar, had a conventional hammer spur and were marked with the Webley name.
